The Journal of Virtual Space and Social Media Studies is a quarterly publication by the Research Center for Culture, Art, and Communication, a leading institute in addressing cultural and communication issues in Iran. This journal aims to address and understand the developments in communication technologies in the emerging virtual space and the emergence of social media. It seeks to identify and understand the issues, phenomena, and emerging events related to the transformations of cyberspace in Iranian and global society, and to consider the future of these developments. The journal provides a platform for researchers, policymakers, and cultural and media governance in the Islamic Republic of Iran to address the questions they face.
The "Journal of Virtual Space and Social Media Studies" is published quarterly by the Research Center for Culture, Art, and Communication, with publication license number 94692 from the Press Deputy of the Ministry of Islamic Guidance.
The number of authors for articles registered in the system should not exceed two, except for PhD students who can only include the name of their supervisor and one advisor in the article extracted from their dissertation. Additionally, PhD students, master's students, and master's graduates cannot submit articles for evaluation alone, and if this clause is not observed, their articles will be removed from the journal's agenda.
